  • ISBN registration and copyright assistance

  • Marketing and promotional services

  • Author consulting and guidance

  • Digital and print publishing solutions

All services are provided subject to availability and may be modified or discontinued at our discretion.

4. Client Responsibilities

When engaging with our services, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information for all service requests

  • Submit original content or content for which you hold proper rights

  • Respond to our communications in a timely manner

  • Comply with all applicable copyright and intellectual property laws

  • Pay all fees associated with the services you request

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials

5. SMS and Text Message Communications

If you opt in to receive SMS or text message communications from League Publishing, the following terms apply:

Carrier Responsibility

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. We are not responsible for:

  • Messages that are blocked, filtered, or delayed by your mobile carrier

  • Technical issues related to your mobile carrier’s network

  • Charges imposed by your carrier for text messaging services

  • Network coverage limitations or service interruptions

  • Any carrier-related failures or issues

Message Terms

By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive text messages including service updates, order notifications, and promotional messages (if you opt in to marketing). Standard message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Message frequency varies based on your account activity and preferences.

You can opt out of SMS communications at any time by replying “STOP” to any text message or by contacting us directly. We are not responsible for any delays in processing your opt-out request due to carrier issues.

6. Intellectual Property Rights

Your Content

You retain all ownership rights to the manuscripts, materials, and content you submit to us. By submitting content, you grant League Publishing a limited license to:

  • Edit, format, and prepare your work for publication

  • Distribute and market your published work

  • Display your content on our website and promotional materials

This license remains in effect for the duration of our service agreement.

Our Content

All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, images, software, and design elements, is the property of League Publishing and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without written permission.

7. Fees and Payment

  • Service fees will be communicated to you before engagement begins

  • Payment is due according to the terms specified in your service agreement

  • Late payments may incur additional fees or interest charges

  • We reserve the right to suspend services for non-payment

  • Fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your service agreement

  • Additional fees may apply for revisions beyond the agreed scope of work

8. Publication Process

  • Estimated timelines are approximate and may vary based on project complexity

  • We will make reasonable efforts to meet agreed-upon deadlines

  • Delays caused by client revisions or incomplete materials may extend timelines

  • Final approval of all materials rests with the client before publication

  • Once a book is published, changes may incur additional costs

9. Warranties and Representations

You warrant that:

  • You own all rights to the content you submit or have obtained necessary permissions

  • Your content does not infringe on any copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights

  • Your content does not contain defamatory, obscene, or illegal material

  • All information you provide is accurate and truthful

League Publishing reserves the right to refuse service or remove content that violates these warranties.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • League Publishing is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

  • Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service

  • We do not guarantee specific sales figures, rankings, or commercial success

  • We are not responsible for decisions made based on our advice or recommendations

  • We are not liable for errors in client-provided content or materials

11. Professional Services

Our publishing services are provided for professional publication purposes. While we strive to provide high-quality service, you acknowledge that:

  • Creative and commercial outcomes may vary

  • Market success depends on multiple factors beyond our control

  • Editorial recommendations are subjective and based on professional judgment

  • Final publishing decisions remain your responsibility

12. Confidentiality

We respect your privacy and will maintain the confidentiality of your unpublished manuscripts and sensitive business information, except where:

  • Disclosure is required by law or court order

  • Disclosure is necessary to provide the requested services

  • You provide written consent for disclosure

  • Information becomes publicly available through publication or other means

13. Termination

Either party may terminate the service relationship with written notice. Upon termination:

  • You remain responsible for payment of all fees incurred up to the termination date

  • We will return your original materials as specified in the agreement

  • Work completed up to the termination date remains billable

  • Certain provisions of these terms will continue to apply, including confidentiality and intellectual property rights

14. Cancellation and Refund Policy

  • Service cancellations must be submitted in writing

  • Cancellations made after work has commenced may incur fees for work completed

  • Refund requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis

  • Refunds, if approved, will be processed within 30 business days

  • No refunds will be issued for completed services or published works

15. Distribution and Sales

  • Distribution channels and availability depend on the selected publishing package

  • We do not guarantee acceptance by specific retailers or platforms

  • Book pricing and royalty structures will be outlined in your service agreement

  • You are responsible for understanding tax implications of book sales

  • Sales reporting is provided according to the terms of your agreement

16. Disputes and Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by applicable laws. Any disputes arising from these terms or our services shall be resolved through:

  • Good faith negotiation between the parties

  • Mediation or arbitration if negotiation fails

  • Appropriate legal channels if alternative resolution fails

17. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

18. Disclaimers

  • We make no warranties or guarantee about specific commercial outcomes

21. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreements you enter with us, constitute the entire agreement between you and League Publishing regarding the use of our services.
